Kumar Sangakkara is known for being one of the most calm personalities in the world of cricket. However, the legendary Sri Lankan, who is working as an head coach of Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2024, lost his cool on Thursday after Travis Head was given not out by the TV umpire during Match 50 of IPL 2024 between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

The incident happened during the 15th over of RR's innings when Avesh Khan bowled a dot to Head, who was outside the crease. Samson saw the opportunity, and went for a direct hit. And the stumps were broken, and on-field umpires went for a recheck by sending it upstairs.

The replay showed the bat was clearly on the air when the wickets were broken, yet the third-umpire Rohan Pandit gave it not out saying the bat was grounded.

This left Sangakkara absolutely livid from the dug-out, as he went straight to the fourth umpire to have a chat regarding that.

However, it did not hurt RR much as Head got cleaned up by Avesh Khan on the next delivery.
