Which players will survive Ruben Amorim's squad cull? MEN Sport takes a deep dive.

Manchester United still have work to do in the summer transfer window.

Despite having seen Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, Diego Leon and Enzo Kana-Biyik all arrive at Old Trafford, Ruben Amorim is still actively searching for further reinforcements.

United still want to bring in a goalkeeper, a midfielder and a new centre forward, according to The Independent, and look to be advancing with a move for RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko.

But in terms of outgoings, four players have been told they have no future under Amorim and are still on the search for a new club.

Below, MEN Sport looks at the names who could still leave United before the end of the window and the latest rumours surrounding their futures.

Altay Bayindir

Altay Bayindir, despite going on United's pre-season tour, is desperate for more first-team football. He has seen his opportunities limited since joining from Fenerbahce in 2023.

For now, no concrete offers have arrived for the Turkey international, with some murmurings that a move back to his homeland could be on the cards.

It remains to be seen whether Bayindir stays at United this season, and his exit would likely affect whether a new shot-stopper arrives at the Theatre of Dreams.

Tyrell Malacia

Tyrell Malacia is proving a hard sell, especially given his injury problems over the last two years. In fact, he almost feels like a forgotten man.

Malacia isn't part of Amorim's plans, and the Netherlands international has been told to find a new club. Having spent time with PSV Eindhoven on loan last season, the Dutch giants appear not so keen on a permanent deal.

Another loan move could be the play for Malacia, but it's been a torrid time at United since his arrival under Erik ten Hag, and a fresh start should stand him in good stead to revive his career.

Antony

Antony looks to be the biggest sellable asset for United as we reach August, which is a surprise given his form over the last six months.

Having enjoyed a superb loan spell at Real Betis, rumours have suggested a return to Spain is still on the cards, with interest from Saudi Arabia having also arisen.

Antony's transfer fee was always going to attract criticism, but he has proven his worth at both Ajax and Betis, even if his skillset appears less suited to English football.

Jadon Sancho

Despite a decent enough loan spell at Chelsea, Jadon Sancho is still a Manchester United player, and his wages are proving tricky to shift.

The former Borussia Dortmund man earns an estimated £300,000-a-week at Old Trafford, and plenty of clubs have already decided he is not worth the outlay alone.

In a situation similar to many former United stars, Antony Martial and Victor Lindelof also decided to run down their healthy contracts, and Sancho could be the next one. Italian and Saudi Arabian interest appears to have gone cold.

Alejandro Garnacho

Alejandro Garnacho is another player who has been bombed out by Amorim, with interest from Chelsea and Arsenal having been mooted this summer.

Aston Villa is also another potential location, with Garnacho keen to stay in the Premier League, given his young family's wishes.

United want a fee close to £40m for the young Argentine, and his exit seems one that INEOS are confident about, given rumours all summer long.

Rasmus Hojlund

The curious case of Rasmus Hojlund continues, especially given his showing in pre-season against Bournemouth in the US this week.

Having opened the scoring for United, Hojlund wants to stay at Old Trafford, but Amorim may be forced into a sale if talks for Sesko continue and funds are needed.

A move to Inter had been talked up, but the Serie A giants have now signed former Parma man Yoan-Ange Bonny and that move seems to be dead in the water.
