PCB announces women’s team central contracts for 2025-26 season

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday announced the central contracts of the women’s team for the 2025-26 season.

The contracts, running from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026, feature a 50 per cent increase in player retainers across all categories. Notably, Sadia Iqbal, who holds the number one spot in the ICC T20I bowling rankings, earned a promotion to Category A.

PCB also introduced a new ‘Emerging’ Category E, with uncapped batter Eyman Fatima, as well as Shawaal Zulfiqar being the first players to be awarded contracts under this new tier
