Tentative schedule for Pakistan vs Bangladesh T20I series in May

The tentative schedule for the five-match T20I series between Pakistan and Bangladesh has been unveiled, with the series set to commence in Faisalabad before concluding in Lahore.

According to sources, Bangladesh are expected to arrive in Pakistan on 21 May, with the opening T20I scheduled for 25 May at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.

The second match will follow at the same venue on 27 May.

The action will then shift to Lahore, where the remaining three matches will take place at Gaddafi Stadium on 30 May, 1 June, and 3 June.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has shortlisted five players as potential selections for the series.

The players under consideration include seasoned campaigners Sahibzada Farhan, Hussain Talat, Hasan Ali, and Faheem Ashraf, along with emerging pacer Ali Raza.

Pakistan and Bangladesh have previously faced each other 19 times in T20 internationals, with Pakistan winning 16 encounters and Bangladesh claiming three victories.

Their last meeting came during the 2022–23 tri-nation series in New Zealand, where Pakistan defeated the hosts to lift the trophy.

The PCB is expected to announce the final squad and confirmed match timings in the coming days.
