Liverpool will be hoping to end Jurgen Klopp's final season on a high with wins over Aston Villa and Wolves, with Feyenoord boss Arne Slot set to reaplce him at the helm

Jurgen Klopp has just two games left in charge of Liverpool, with the German set to step down as manager at the end of the season.

Feyenoord boss Arne Slot is expected to replace Klopp at the helm, with an agreement understood to be in place between the two teams. However, before Slot officially takes over Klopp will be desperate to go out on a high.

Liverpool may be out of the Premier League title race, but they will be hoping to end the campaign with wins over Aston Villa and Wolves. With all that in mind, Mirror Football takes a look at all the latest news from around Anfield.

Salah tipped to leave

Liverpool have been told selling star man Mohamed Salah this summer could be the "smartest decision".

"Salah is a fantastic player who has produced so many magical moments, but I can see a world where the smartest decision would be to sell him this summer given, I think, he has one year left on his contract," former Reds goalkeeper Adam Bogdan exclusively told Ladbrokes Fanzone.

"From what we've seen of him in the last couple of weeks, it looks unlikely he'll sign a new contract. But I don't know what's going on behind the scenes. In the case of Virgil van Dijk, we've heard him talk about how happy he is at the club and that he wants to stay, but we haven't heard this from Mo Salah."

Gerrard to poach Reds coach

Liverpool's goalkeeping coach John Achterberg is set to link up with club legend Steven Gerrard, having announced he will be departing Anfield alongside Klopp at the end of the season.

Achterberg has worked for Liverpool since 2009 and it is understood he has been approached by Al-Ettifaq, the Saudi club currently managed by Gerrard. "After 15 years at the club, I have decided with a heavy heart to leave LFC," Achterberg said.

‌"It has been an unbelievable and great journey for me and my family. I have loved each day working at this amazing club, but after a long think I feel it could be right for me to start a new challenge."

Liverpool sign up cult hero's son

Keyrol Fiqueroa, the son of former Premier League defender Maynor, has signed a first professional contract with Liverpool.

The 17-year-old joined Liverpool as an U14s prospect and also represents America, having most recently featured at the U17 World Cup where his side were knocked out by Germany in the last 16.

Figueroa is a forward and will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of his father, who made more than 200 Premier League appearances across spells at Wigan and Hull. Liverpool have several other sons of former Premier League stars on their books, including Jayden Danns, Bobby Clark and Lewis Koumas.
